STEP, MATH, Field Trip

Buenas tardes, padres de familia. Esperamos que hayan tenido buena semana, por que nosotros definitivamente la tuvimos. Hemos estado administrando los exámenes de STEP y nuestros estudiantes han mejorado sus niveles con gran esfuerzo.

También hemos empezado con los exámenes de matemáticas en la clase de Inglés. Todos los resultados de ambos exámenes serán mandados a casa cuando regresemos de vacaciones. Por lo pronto, sigan trabajando y practicando con sus hijos para mejorar cada día.

Ayer Miércoles 10 de Diciembre fuimos al museo ZACH para ver una una obra de las fiestas navideñas. Los niños se la pasaron riendo y ayudando a los protagonistas resolver sus problemas. Después fuimos a comer al parque donde pudieron jugar e interactuar con niños de otras escuelas. Al regresar, muchos estában exhaustos y pudieron dormir para recuperar sus energías

Por ultimo, queremos que les recuerden a sus hijos e hijas de la manera apropriada de usar materiales de la clase como tijeras, pegamento, borradores, etc. Hemos tenido varios incidentes donde los usan inapropiadamente y lo que menos queremos es que alguno se lastime. Hasta ahorita, nadie se hay dañado, pero queremos seguir con esa buena racha.

Good afternoon, parents! We hope you had a great week so far, because we certainly did. We have been testing our students with STEP and they have been giving us great results. They have all improved in different areas, and even passed several levels.

We have also started with the Math IA’s (tests) in English class. All results will be sent home when we come back from our Holiday break. For now, please keep supporting your children so they can improve every day.

Yesterday, Wednesday 10 of December, we had our second field trip to the ZACH theater to see the Holiday Heroes play. The students were laughing so much and enjoyed the play very much, even helping the protagonists find what they were looking for. Afterwards, they had the opportunity to enjoy lunch and play at Zilker park where they interacted with other children from different schools. Coming back, all were tired and were able to rest in their classroom.

Last but not least, we would like for all of you to remind your children about using class materials safely. We know certain objects can be dangerous, but with our instruction and your support, our children can use scissors, glue, erasers and other material safely.
